As per usual with my tutorials, while this is sorted into the Paint Shop Pro category, it can be applied to most graphic programs capable of pixel art, such as MS Paint or Photoshop. It is in this category because that is the program I personally use, but should work for you regardless. :D

A lot of people seem a bit confused when it comes to the subject of dithering in pixel art, and people seemed grateful for the short explanation on dithering in my last tutorial - I decided to try my hand at making another that elaborates more on dithering and different methods on it.

I am not at all a professional, and there's countless people a lot better than me with better methods and better explanations, but nonetheless, I hope this is helpful. For more examples of dithering in pixel art, look at this: Dithering Styles by ^ShoneGold

I love the last picture.At first I was thinking that these colors are way too different to blend so well,(I usually use some colors that would blend just fine)but when you added the shine and the lighter shading,it became really nice. :joy:
