As per usual with my tutorials, while this is sorted into the Paint Shop Pro category, it can be applied to most graphic programs capable of pixel art, such as MS Paint or Photoshop. It is in this category because that is the program I personally use, but should work for you regardless. :D

A lot of people seem a bit confused when it comes to the subject of dithering in pixel art, and people seemed grateful for the short explanation on dithering in my last tutorial - I decided to try my hand at making another that elaborates more on dithering and different methods on it.

I am not at all a professional, and there's countless people a lot better than me with better methods and better explanations, but nonetheless, I hope this is helpful. For more examples of dithering in pixel art, look at this: Dithering Styles by ^ShoneGold

DITHERING TUTORIAL - Basics by ~kitted A simple tutorial on dithering. This method can give you soft anti aliasing and smooth color transitions without additional hues or tones. A must for any pixel artist. ( Suggested by ~saiyan-frost and Featured by `Mistress-Jaeden )

Thanks! for a second there, I thought I'd have to do most of my work in my notebook instead of doing nothing on my Paint! :D

oops, worded that wrong. I meant that I might be subjected to doing nothing on my Paint. :/
