People have been asking me how I do isometric art, and asking for a tutorial. So I made one. This walks you through how to create an isometric cube, which is a good thing to try if you're new to isometric pixel art. It was the first thing I ever made.
Remember - in art, everything is composed of shapes. Basic squares make up a lot of isometric art. If you remember that, isometric art is actually very easy. You can make a cube - what's stopping you from making bricks, and stacking those bricks to make a wall, then making a building? Don't be afraid to try new things. Click download to view. |
