I personally like the shot technically, but if you're going to delve into photographing then you're going to have to fix the position of the hand adjusting the focus. The way it has to be is that the palm of that hand supports the bottom of the camera while the thumb, the index finger and the middle one adjust the focus. The hand position doesn't really matter unless you have a classic camera or a digital one that doesn't automate e.g. lighting and such. It's just that the right position of the hands, and leaning on the camera with your forehead, prevents just about any motion - as a result, you'll still get good pictures at a longer exposure time.
Oh, thanks. I'm still an amateur photographer, so stuff like this helps - not to mention I have a lot of difficulty holding the camera steady, so it's good advice.
